Once upon a time in Hamburg . . .
Summer brings to us relaxing warmth and rest, and its beautiful, sunny weather rejuvenates the soul and spirit of us all.
During the summer of 2019, I visited Hamburg and the salon of the finest Steinway and Sons pianos. This exquisite space inspired me to write and compose “The Sun in the Frame”.
When I sat before a Steinway D-274 on a stage in a small hallway, I peered through a window and could sense the heat of the sunny day which moved my hands to begin playing a melody, marking the genesis of my short musical piece.
Everyone awaits summer and the beautiful, warm weather it brings. “The Sun in the Frame” appears on my album, ‘Seasons’, 2019.
